# IMPRODUCT

## Content

This function returns the product of up to 29 complex numbers in the "x+yi" or "x+yj" text format.

## Syntax

`IMPRODUCT(complexnum1, complexnum2, ...)`

## Arguments

The arguments are the complex numbers to multiply. There can be up to 29 of them.

Arrays in the x+yi format or range references are allowed.

## Remarks

An error is returned if the arguments are not in the form "x+yi" or "x+yj". For more information, refer to [Complex Numbers](/spreadjs/docs/v16/formulareference/formulaoverview/functionsformula/complexnumbers).

## Data Types

Accepts number and string data. Returns string data.

## Examples

`IMPRODUCT("2+5j",4)`

`IMPRODUCT({"1+2i","3+4i"})`
