# Release Notes for Version 15.0.0 ## Content # Enhancements from the Previous Release The following features and enhancements have been incorporated in this version of the product. - SpreadJS introduces the [TableSheet](/spreadjs/docs/v17/features/tablesheet), a fast data-bound table view with grid-like behavior with a spreadsheet user interface. - SpreadJS has added support for [color index](BasicFormat#i-heading-color-formatting) in cell formatting. - Users can now align content horizontally using the ["Center Across Selection" option](cellalign#i-heading-center-across-selection). - SpreadJS has updated charts to support [Data Point Customization](/spreadjs/docs/v17/features/Charts/ConfigureChartElements/chart-data-points). - Users can now [start formula by plus (+) sign](/spreadjs/docs/v17/features/formulas/formulauser) like in MS Excel. - SpreadJS has been updated to give a clear prompt when modifying duplicate sheet names. - The InvalidOperation event has been updated to include [dragFill invalid type](dragfill#i-heading-find-invalid-range-when-using-drag-fill). - [Remove Duplicates](/spreadjs/docs/v17/spreadjs_designer_component/spdesignerwork/remove-duplicate) feature has been added in SpreadJS Designer which enables the user to add efficiency and remove redundancy. - [Text To Columns](/spreadjs/docs/v17/spreadjs_designer_component/spdesignerwork/text-to-columns) feature has been added in SpreadJS Designer which is used to convert simple text or sentences having multiple words into separate columns.. - SpreadJS Pivot Table now supports importing or exporting a spreadsheet to [JSON without style](pivot-table-settings#i-heading-json-i-o-without-style). - Users can now [show or hide column and row headers](pivot-table-settings#i-heading-show-or-hide-headers) in the Pivot Table. - Pivot Table is updated to support [Number Format for Row and Column Fields](/spreadjs/docs/v17/features/pivot-table/context-menu). - Date parsing has enhanced data performance loading from JSON or CSV. - Users can now use date type filters in Pivot Tables which can be used to specify a criteria that is applied to date type items. - SpreadJS now supports setting [apply flag in named styles](styles#i-heading-set-named-style). - Support for Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022 has been added. - Upgraded the PDFkit for fixing the security issues. - Upgraded filesaver.js for process irregularities with UglifyJS. - SpreadJS now allows you to configure styles according to the [state of the rows and columns](/spreadjs/docs/v17/features/cells/cell-states/row-col-states). - Users can now [change the tab strip position](/spreadjs/docs/v17/spreadjs_designer_component/designerinterface/designermenu) through sheet context menu in SpreadJS Designer. - SpreadJS has been updated to support Angular 13 along with Angular 11 and 12. - The ribbon UX has been updated in SpreadJS Designer - New filter options have been added in the SpreadJS Designer [Name Manager Dialog](name-box#i-heading-using-name-manager-dialog). - SpreadJS Designer has added serialization option in the [File Export menu](spdesigneropen#i-heading-save-and-export-files). - The Workflow List UX in Cell DropDowns has been enhanced. # Resolved Issues The following issues have been resolved since the last release. - PivotTable has been updated to position the filter panel correctly. - DataValidator has been updated to import properly from the Excel files. - Various chart-related issues have been fixed for SpreadJS Designer. - Pivot Table field labels import properly now. - The RangeChanged Event has been updated to fire if the Cell Dependents is changed using the Undo operation. - After Excel import, the height and width of the sheet are updated to change. - Fixed SpreadJS ExcelIO operation where redundant borders are applied. - The pie chart color has been updated to have solid fills. - The INDIRECT formula function works correctly with spilled array reference. - The designer template function works correctly in SpreadJS Designer. - SpreadJS now imports excel cell text-overflow. - The data binding button position has been updated. - The formula edit box is retained when cross sheet reference is added in SpreadJS Designer. - Columns have been updated to display fully after the column outline is expanded. - Column width has been updated when importing SSJON exported from GcExcel. - SpreadJS Designer now updates the selection of multiple sheets and dragging. - SpreadJS exports Excel files with formula correctly. - After adding a formula, the designer formula bar has been updated to display the formula. - Compatibility with the conditional format has been improved. - SpreadJS imports Excel files with charts correctly. - The fromJson method imports the background image correctly. - Right-click paste item is now compatible with Excel. - The TYPE formula function works correctly. - Cell back color has been updated to change its color when exported - The formula display works correctly after importing the excel file. - Tables are added correctly without any rows error. - The chart has been updated to resize its position when frozen panes are enabled. - Table cell types are updated correctly when columns are inserted. - Files with comments are imported correctly. - The Data Validation dialog in SpreadJS Designer now opens correctly. - SpreadJS has been updated to have cell #VALUE like excel. - The name box list has been updated to have a fixed length box and enables the scrollbar correctly. - Shape zoom factor is handled correctly. - Table header selection has been updated to extend even if sheet protection is not enabled. - Objects with resizing options work correctly when charts are selected. - Inserting a copied cell in an imported JSON file works correctly. - Cell formats handle fraction values correctly - External content is copied correctly after the chart is moved. - SpreadJS dropdown is retained when importing an excel file. - The formula has been updated to calculate after the cell is modified. - An error is handled while executing the toJSON method. - The pasteSkipInvisibleRange property has been updated to reflect the pasting effects.
