CHIDIST

This function calculates the one-tailed probability of the chi-squared distribution.

Syntax

CHIDIST( value, deg )

Arguments

This function has these arguments:

Argument	Description
value	Value at which to evaluate the function
deg	Number of degrees of freedom; if not an integer, the number is truncated

Data Types

Accepts numeric data for both arguments. Returns numeric data.

Examples

CHIDIST(B5,D7)

CHIDIST(R5C2,R7C4)

CHIDIST(6.7,4) gives the result 0.1526169403
