TTEST

This function returns the probability associated with a t-test.

Syntax

TTEST( array1, array2, tails, type )

Arguments

This function has these arguments:

Argument	Description
array1	Array of values in the first data set
array2	Array of values in the second data set
tails	Number of tails
type	Type of t-test to perform (1, 2, or 3)

Data Types

Accepts numeric data for all arguments. Returns numeric data.

Examples

TTEST(A1:A17,B1:B17,4,3)

TTEST({2,2,2,3,4},{2,3,3,4,5},1,2) gives the result 0.126036
