PERCENTRANK.EXC

This function returns the rank of a value in a data set as a percentage (0..1, exclusive) of the data set.

Syntax

PERCENTRANK.EXC(array, n, sigdig)

Arguments

This function has these arguments:

Argument

Description

array

Array of data with numeric values that defines the relative ranking

n

Value for which you want to find the rank in percentage

sigdig

[Optional] Number of significant digits for the ranked percentage value; if omitted, the calculation used three significant digits

Remarks

If array is empty, this function returns the #NUM! error value. If sigdig < 1, this function returns the #NUM! error value.

Data Types

Accepts numeric data for all arguments. Returns numeric data.
