Release Notes for Version 15.2.0

Enhancements from the Previous Release 

The following features and enhancements have been incorporated into this version of the product:

• SpreadJS now implements a picture as a shape instead of a floating object.

• SpreadJS supports picture geometry type, transparency, contrast, brightness, and cropping.

• SpreadJS supports recoloring in pictures. 

• SpreadJS Designer is enhanced with the picture format tab. 

• SpreadJS supports the InvalidOperation event for more actions when the sheet is protected.

• Users can display the customized column value using the formatter formula.  

• SpreadJS now supports React 18.

• SpreadJS now supports Angular 14.

Resolved Issues 

The following issues have been resolved since the last release:

• SpreadJS Designer has resolved the Find/Replace Dialog to show Cell References. 

• Pivot table operations are updated to handle its inconsistent nature with Excel.  

• SpreadJS Designer is updated to import ssjson file.  

• SpreadJS is updated to import xlsx file.  

• SpreadJS Designer has resolved an issue by adding the ListValidator.

• SpreadJS has resolved workbook’s #VALUE! Errors to enhance its performance.  

• SpreadJS has resolved the missing text issue while importing the workbook.  

• SpreadJS has resolved the auto-select issue while using the editable combo box cell. 

• SpreadJS now allows the drag and fill the table.  

• Users can now change filters while inserting a new row to the table. 

• SpreadJS has updated FormulaTextBox's bind method to give information regarding their parameters and use cases. 

• SpreadJS has resolved the inconsistency in a cell’s word wrap.

• Users can now keep the scroll bar still after dragging the field when there are many field lists. Also, it will retain the location of scrollbar. 

• SpreadJS has resolved issues of showing #VALUE while importing Excel file. 

• SpreadJS will allow the user to retain the formatting while importing.  

• The page crash issue of the setColumnVisible method has been resolved.  

• Charts in SpreadJS will now retain the correct data source even after setting the ignorehidden property to false.  

Breaking Changes from the Previous Release 

This version of the product has the following changes: 

• Slicers are now enhanced to use the sheet and shapes base instead of the DOM base. A new plugin gc.spread.sheets.slicers.js must be added when using table slicer, table slicer data, item slicer, and pivot slicer. As slicer is a shape-based feature, the gc.spread.sheets.shapes.js plugin is added as a dependency while using the table, item, and pivot slicers prior to referring to the slicer plugin.
